This week I want to take a moment to share what God has done. Most of you don’t know each other. You are probably a weekly reader wanting to grow in your faith, but you have no idea who else is apart of The Disciplemaking Challenge. There are 63 total in this group who have decided to take a step forward in faith every week. When something like that happens there are always stories to tell. This week I want to tell one of them.
Some people do it better than others, but in the busyness of life it is easy to forget to stop and thank God for what He has done. In fact, if we don’t stop and we continue to let hourly, daily, weekly demands drive our life we allow someone else’s story claim our focus. I am convinced that if you have breath in your lungs God is working a story in your life. We just need to press pause on the movie reel of the daily grind to tune into God’s movie reel.
For this reason I started a section of the website for Testimonies. This week let’s press pause to read one story of how God broke in and gave hope to a woman who desperately needed it.
This week I want to ask you if you have a story to tell? If so, you need to share it. God doesn’t give us gifts to keep to ourselves. What He gives you isn’t private property. Peter tells us that what we have been given is not only for our benefit, but for the benefit of others as well.
If you want to share it on our page I created a Submission Form. We would love to celebrate how God has worked in you and/or through you through The Disciplemaking Challenge. All submissions will stay anonymous, and details such as names and places should be changed to conceal identity.
The Challenge: Share what God has recently done in your life with at least one person.
Yours in the journey,
